She was hated all her life because she was "different", but he didn't care. She still a person after all, he he saw that... It makes you realize how stupid our divisions in our society and the world are. Everyone is the same, we're all people at the end of the day. It's our enviroment that make us who we are. Lucy was abused and mocked in her childhood, and, naturally, had a grudge against humans when she was older. But when people see her, they just think "ahh psycho killer!". Not bothering to see behind the mask, they just think that's her, that's how she is, and that's it. If everyone could be like Kohta, who saw the person behind the mask, the world will truly be at peace. Here's a quote from a guy called Richard Albert: "Now in our culture we have been trained for individual differences to stand out, so you look at each person and immediately it's brighter, dumber, older, younger, richer, poorer and we make all of these dimensional distinctions, put them in categories and treat them that way. And we get so that we only see others as separate from ourselves, in the ways in which they're separate. And one of the dramatic characteristics of experience is being with another person and suddenly seeing the ways in which they are like you, not different from you, and experiencing the fact that which is essence in you, and which is essence in me, is indeed ONE, the understanding that there is no other, it is all one. Apparently Kouta HAD to marry Yuka, if the mangaka changed the plot and Kouta did marry lucy then they will have to do something with Yuka but what? they can either kill her, or some weird guy pops up and marries her but the problem is she loves kouta

Poor Puppy \| Mayu Posts: 112 Joined: 25.08.09	Its so easy to say that Lucy and Kouta are a better couple. They give reasons in the manga and anime of why Lucy loves Kouta. They don't give Yuka that same spotlight. I do think that Lucy and Kouta would have been wonderful together, its only part of the tragedy. Also, roflmao Sparhawk.

That was one of the things that hit me the hardest. Poor Puppy \| Mayu Posts: 112 Joined: 25.08.09	The ending for the manga gave me mixed feelings. I was both satisfied, and left unsatisfied. Though, its not the typical perfect ending series. Its no Yu Yu Hakusho, or Full Moon Wo Sagashitte.
